GN'R Girls

Guns N Roses exploded onto the sunset strip in the mid 80s. Their raw sound and pure rock n roll attitudes definitely attracted the ladies. These are the women that contributed to and inspired the most dangerous band in the world.

Michelle ask Axl to write a song for her, and thus "My Michelle" was created. Axl was honest in his lyrics about how her life was spiraling out of control, the band thought she would hate it, but she loved it.

                                                        Barbie Von Grief

                                                        Adriana Smith
Adriana Smith was a stripper on the Sunset Strip and became Steven Adler's Girlfriend.
When it came time to record Guns debut album Appetite For Destruction, Axl felt that the song "Rocket Queen" was missing something. He wanted to have the sounds of sexual moaning on the single. So for a bottle of Jack Daniels, Adriana had sex with Axl in the sound booth, and became the voice of Rocket Queen.

                                                       Monique Lewis
Monique Lewis dated Izzy Stradlin in the early 80s and Axl soon fell in love with her. She was the inspiration for the song "Don't Cry". "I was sitting outside the Roxy, and you know, I was like really in love with this person, and she was realising this wasn't going to work, she was doing her things, she was telling me goodbye, and I like sat down, and just started crying, and she was telling me 'don't cry'. Next night we got together and wrote the song in 5 minutes. He'd been through some things with her, himself"- Axl Rose. Axl Has her picture tattooed on his arm.
                                                     Pamela Manning
Pamela Manning was a runaway that moved to the Sunset Strip and became a stripper. She had her first taste of performing with rock bands when she became the girl strapped on the rack for the band W.A.S.P. But when Guns busted onto the scene, she became a fixture during their show dancing and showing off her stripper moves while the band played.
                                                           Desi Craft
Desi Craft was Izzy Stradlin's girlfriend and stripped on the Sunset Strip to support her and Izzy's herion addiction. She danced on stage during Guns cover of "Jumpin' Jack Flash". She was there for much of the writing process of GNR's classic songs, like "Mr. Brownstone", a song about the love of heroin.

                                                      Stephanie Seymour
Stephanie Seymour was a top model in the late 80s and 90s, modeling for high fashion designers and being one of the original Victoria's Secret models.
